YMCA of Greater Miami
info >>
The YMCA of Greater Miami is part of the YMCA of the USA, the largest not-for-profit community service organization and second largest charity in America.
At the Y, strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
To learn more about the Y in the Hialeah community call the North Pointe YMCA Family Center at 786-433-9622, or our Children’s Services at 305-357-6622.
Serving the Greater Miami area since 1916, the YMCA has programs for kids, families and the community from the Miami-Dade/Broward County line south to the Upper Keys. Programs are held in schools, parks, recreation centers, and at our 4 YMCA Family Centers and our 3 preschools.
All YMCA programs are designed to build the core character values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. The YMCA is for people of all faiths, races, abilities, ages and incomes. Our goal is to turn no one away. Our strength is in the people we bring together.
The YMCA is volunteer-lead, with an all volunteer Board of Directors. Financial assistance is available, thanks to the support of the community for the YMCA’s Strong Kids Campaign. Additional support for children and families to participate include grants from community partners, corporations, foundations, and government agencies.
