Today we’ll be talking about the baseball/softball teams for Immaculate Conception Catholic School.
Boys Varsity
Baseball:
If you have a passion for baseball then Immaculate is probably the place for you. The Varsity team is undefeated
and this group of kids (current 7th graders and 8th graders) has NEVER lost a game EVER! Their next game is against Epiphany and it
will surely be a good one. The boys are preparing by practicing hard and good
this week. They dominated their last game against St. Peter and Paul. The final
score was 9-0! That’s it for the Varsity baseball team this week.
Girls Varsity
Softball:
The girls are doing well too. Their
record is 3-1 and their most recent game was at St. Rose where they won in a
high scoring game with the final score 15-12. Their next game is versus St.
Peter and Paul again but at home this time. Since it’s usually harder to win an
away game than a home game I think we have an advantage on this one. But if we
get overconfident we could choke this time so they better play it smart.
