Make a big difference. As a YMCA volunteer, you can lead a group exercise class, coach a basketball team, read to a preschool class, greet people at the Welcome Center, serve as a role model for young people or help out at a special event. As a volunteer, you’ll be working with other caring, committed people who want to make a difference in your community.

How do I apply?

YMCA program volunteers undergo an interview and training process similar to that of paid staff. This helps you find the best fit for your skills while also ensuring the safety of our members, staff and other volunteers.
